The Best & Worst Dressed at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards

The Best & Worst Dressed at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards -  MTV Movie Awards 2012, Russell Brand did a decent job as host, delivering the expected trifecta of Beiber-Kardashian-Charlie Sheen jokes, but we’re not here to discuss the performances of flamboyant British comedians.

The MTV Movie Awards 2012 of course offered up some pretty interesting fashion choices and we’ve got your rundown of the best and worst dressed at the MTV Movie Awards. Please check it :

 

Now usually we’re going to be wary of anything involving yellow and black, but Victoria Justice manages to pull off the color combo without the bumble bee effect. Our favorite part of the look, though, were those flawless spiral waves. Add this ‘do to your list of must-replicate summer styles.

 

It’s the MTV Movie Awards, so why not wear a tailored Stella McCartney hourglass jacket open down to the navel? It’s the perfect place for Shailene Woodley to take chances with a pantsuit, and this one paid off big.

 

Not one to miss an MTV soiree, Paris Hilton made an appearance in this heavily embellished gunmetal mini with a dangerous spiked clutch. Even her Barbie hair had a rocker edge to it.

 

Kristen Stewart loves her structured little dresses! This Guishem one might look like a homemade spaceship costume, but in the chicest way possible. Wonder if we’ll ever see the Twilight star without her signature heavy-handed eyeshadow.

 

Jessica Biel‘s textured white dress had Karl Lagerfeld’s fingerprints all over it. Colorful mint platforms were a nice touch, but nothing beats the new bling on her ring finger.

 

Emma Watson was gorgeous in a fun print mini-dress, with what could only be described as a racerback-esque detail. Also? . It’s an unusual choice for the feminine dresser, but different can be good.

 

Emma Stone looked fab yet again, in a sophisticated yet sculptured black and tan combo. Emma Stone might win for our favorite of the night in her two-tone layer-crazy dress by Martin Grant. We’re not sure if it was her mirror image shoes, that soft-swept updo or berry lips that won us over, but it was simply perfection.

 

I think that Charlize Theron is the best that night, I love it!! This red peplum Lanvin dress was brilliantly simple, particularly with the actress’ effortless ‘do and minimalist approach to accessorizing.
